Christmas season is coming, and that means gifts. It also means that I have a way to utilize the small Santa's that I carve. The last time I carved Santa earrings, I painted them. However, between then and now, I must have improperly stored the small paint brushes, because now they have developed a little shake. Don't know about painting them now. Might stain them! The only trouble is, I like the painted Santa's. Maybe I'll just try to cut back on the coffee.
Hey, leave me a comment as to which you like the best, painted or stained.
I'll sweeten the pot. I'll draw a name from all persons leaving a comment, and send them a pair...
Name to be drawn October 30.
Ok so the plain ones would go great with the blue jeans...but then the colored santa would go good with the more dressy outfits oh well looks like I get them both.....love you...;-)
ReplyDeleteI like the painted ones the best. The stained ones look less Christmassy if that is a word, lol

I really like the stained santas. I am not so into the bright red and green thing anymore! Both are very cute though!
ReplyDeleteI like the stained ones.
ReplyDeleteThe painted one is the classy one.
ReplyDeleteThe painted ones for sure.

Looks like some of both, so far!
ReplyDeleteI agree with tisme. Sorry, Tom...
ReplyDeleteWell now, if they were bumble bee's I'd like them painted! But I actually like the old world look of the stained Santa..paint sort of covers the talent of the carver up,in my opinion, on these tiny gems.
ReplyDeleteI love the stained ones! How festive to have a pair for the Christmas season; which starts at our house the day after Thanksgiving.
ReplyDeleteHave an awesome day!
What a hard choice! I decorate for Christmas in what I call traditional...You know. The multi-colored lights. Green tree. Red and green ornaments...silver icicles. So you'd think I would say the painted set. BUT I LOVE the stained Santas.
