Need Suggestions!

One of my carving goals this year is to carve more wizards and gnomes in scenes similar to this one. Any one willing to help me out with some suggestions?

I still like the idea of a wizard quartet/choir being directed by a wizard with a wand.....and maybe a whittlin' gnome sittin on a stump/toadstool?

I remember somewhere seeing a cartoon about gnomes... okay, maybe it was the smurfs! LOL Anyways... they took care of small animals... thinking it was the smurfs! LOL BUT... I degress from the picture in my head... what about a gnome helping out an animal of some sort? Umm... sadly can't be a cat - if I remember correctly gnomes do not do well with wild or tame felines. Or was it smurfs... can't wait to see your carvings :)

You know I am a big fan of the 'shrooms!!! But I will definately give some other themes some thoughts (like some fishing gnomes would be great!)
