Christmas Santa Ornament Swaps

It's that time of year where I have a whole bunch of wood carving to do. I am in several Christmas tree ornament swaps. These swaps are not organized the same as the Doll Quilt Swap. With the carved wood ornament swaps, you carve and send an ornament to everyone in the swap. In one swap there are 19 participants, and the other 14. That's a whole lot O carving. But thankfully, it's also a whole lot O fun too.

It's amazing how different each face is. It reminds me of seeing all the Santa's in NYC lined up having lunch..all alike but different.

Some needling swaps require a lot of work, like a pin cushion swap or the one I'm doing now for Christmas, 30 needle cases, 12 beaded birds and 12 angels.

It never seems like work when you picture each person's smile when they get your item.

Lovely carvings and such detail and I just want to send a big thankyou, my parcel arrived today. My Santa ornament will hang on my little tree that holds all my personal ornaments. Thankyou so much Tom!!

My gosh, those are so tiny! I don't know how you can even see some of them!
